The Withered appear in the winter as creatures and people alike start dying from cold, starvation, etc. Their song, or howl, is the one of the most beautiful sounds in the world but very few ever see them or remember seeing them, rather lone hearing them

This was a sketch I already had but hadn’t worked on properly. I had just scanned the initial sketch. So I figured I’d do something with it.

A scene from a dream I had, made for Weekly Art Challenges (you can see their post of this here). This is just a preview image, a part of it is cut off: the full image was too big for Tumblr. The full image can be seen here. The shooting stars were supposed to be completely glowing red but turns out I’m not skillful enough to get them to look right, especially against a light background so…artistic liberties.

Made this for the Weekly Art Challenges (challenge #2) tumblr, here’s my entry on their site (thank you, everyone who liked it there!). It was fun. Had to use the pallette you can see there.
