Dandylions & Society6 Store!

image

I now have a Society6 store and the first puntastic print design up there is Dandylions - inspired by the nerdfighter community, John Green and Karen Kavett’s work. Dandylions is available as a t-shirt. The shirts are American Apparel Fine Jersey and come in a variety of colors.

Doodled this for nerdfighterly purposes.
(EDIT: Sure. It could be the giant squid of anger. Or it could be the regular sized squid of average existence and varying emotions…who knows?)

“It used to be it was enough just to want to have a handbag, but now we’re so demented with the mania of owning things that you have to feel sexually attracted to your handbags. Immediately thereafter I got Starbucks and felt the waves of hypocrisy wash over me.” - John Green, Lust and Folly in London and Edinburgh
Trying something a bit different with the background here. Boy do I suck at creating leaf patterns…

“Babies are monsters of narcissism who believe there has never been another human being in the history of the world, and who also believe deep down in their tiny little baby souls that you exist solely for the purpose of attending to their needs.” - John Green (proud father)

"can you doodle me"

Draw you like one of those French llamas? Okay.

PS: it was funnier when her username was still llama related.

“At some point while in Detroit, I met a really, like a tiny chicken. I don’t actually remember this tiny chicken but I’m almost positive that we had an encounter. Because this tiny chicken has laid tiny eggs in my head, those tiny eggs are growing. And hatching. And the baby tiny chickens are feeding on my brain.” - Hank Green, Brotherhood 2.0: January 11th

“I do not want to live in a world where we only focus on suck and never think about awesome. If we lived in that world then people would play soccer by having both teams stand and guard their own goal the whole game with the ball sitting at midfield. And then at the end of the game we’re supposed to all celebrate because nobody scored any goals against our team. That’s not gonna get you on Sportscenter. We have to guard the goal and we have to try and prevent bad things from happening, but we also have to make good things happen.” - Hank Green
(Hanko De Mayo is upon us, expect a series of random Hank Green quote graphics in celebration - Hank Green is also entitled to request any quote, piece of dialogue, or monologue, to be made into a graphic if he happens to spot this.)

“I really hate it when I’m watching a show in my computer on fullscreen and then the show fades to black and then suddenly I can see my reflection in the monitor. I see that slack, dull face just staring at itself, I just wanna snap out of it and go do something with my life but then I know that I can’t because, y’know, I’m in the middle of a show.” - Hank Green

Dandylions. A shirt print design I finally finished doodling up after a great amount of procrastination. Designed to be a creamish/off-whiteish print on a brown shirt.

“I don’t like it when people undo hugs. You can’t undo hugs.” - Hank Green
(You just do not do that. IT’S PERMANENT!)
In honor of the recent re-bloggings by Hank Green, and the lovely flood of nerdfighters, I decided to pick a Green quote from my long list of quotes to be made into graphics.

“I mean, like, I think that clarity in written language is valuable, but debating the Oxford comma is one of those things that reminds me that we’re all gonna die and that our lives are composed of a finite set of moments that we choose how to spend. And I can’t help but think that if we turn the massive parallel processing power of our brains away from debating the Oxford comma and towards, like, curing malaria or writing really good Arrested Development slash fiction, we might come out ahead as a species.” - John Green
It was time for another one of these.
